Services as action at Mehria Ghausia Mehria School

As part of their Service Learning programme, students of MYP1 have been visiting and working with an underprivileged school in Bhau Wala Village, where they have conducted various co-curricular activities including science experiments, physical education, puppet making, puppet shows and arts & crafts. Through their activities, students have been interacting and creating bonds with the community, while addressing their needs and learning in the process.
The Service Learning/Service as Action Program gives students get an opportunity to understand and view the world around them thereby developing a sense of empathy and responsibility towards the world we live in.
Students take initiative to plan, develop and implement activities, as per their interest and the needs of the target community and audience.
